Come write a book with me! - Nicholas Whitaker Coaching

Hello RebelReader !

Applications for Book 3 close Monday—there’s still time to join the Quiet Rebellion and share your story with the world.

This is your chance to become a bestselling author, explore the book-writing process, and connect with a community of like-hearted professionals committed to changing work for the better.

Last year, we published Leading With Self-Awareness: Starting From the Inside Out, which hit the Amazon bestseller list in three categories in under a week. Next up, on Valentine’s Day, we’re releasing Leading With Compassion: Cultivating Connection from the Inside Out, co-authored by 25 members of the Changing Work Collective.

And now, our third book is on the horizon.

The working title is Are We Friends or Coworkers?: Exploring Community in the Workplace, and we still have spots available for contributors.

I’d love to include your story.

When I was in corporate, I got a front-row seat to the complexities of fostering friendships in the workplace. It became especially clear when I struggled with my mental health at work—and even more so when I was laid off.

Suddenly, I saw who my real friends were and who wasn’t.

Relationships I thought were solid, nurtured over a decade, quickly fell away.

But I also experienced genuine connection.

The mindfulness and mental health awareness communities I helped build at work brought me friendships that still sustain me today. Those connections weren’t just transactional—they were transformative.

This next book is about exactly that: the Quiet Rebellion of fostering real, meaningful relationships at work in a world that often prioritizes the transactional.

Together, we’ll explore how to go beyond the superficial to create workplaces where connection and community thrive.

If this topic resonates with you, and you’re curious about what it’s like to co-author a book in community, now’s the time to join us.

Your story matters—and it could inspire others to lead their own Quiet Rebellion.

Apply now before applications close Monday.

Let’s write something incredible together.

In Solidarity

Dispatch: May 25th, 2025 Hey Rebel Reader, Just a quick note as I shift where (and how) I’m sharing my work. As you may already know, I’ve been peeling back from social media. I’m no longer on Meta platforms... for all the reasons. And while I’m still on LinkedIn, the algorithm makes sure only a fraction of you ever see what I share… while quietly feeding your attention to a machine designed to hijack your time and keep you on platform as long as possible. That’s not the game I’m here to...

May 19th, 2025 Hey Rebel Reader, Ever feel like you're holding everything together... but quietly unraveling inside? If so, you're not alone. I talk to people just like you every day. Over the past few weeks, I’ve been releasing a new series called The Quiet Rebellion Caselogs - real patterns I’ve seen again and again in high performers. Not diagnoses. Not labels. Just deeply practiced strategies that worked… until they didn’t. If you’ve ever felt stuck, exhausted, or just off...there’s likely...
